| Description | We're thinking of cleaning up some functionality related to *def constructs (chardef, mathchardef, countdef, etc) ... these are no longer needed as we can define unexpandable macros. This means that \the\somechardef might no longer be available so it's a major change. On the other hand it will simplify tex's internals. This is a late stage activity. | ||||
